The host gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and took the time to point out where the nearby restaurants and beaches were. “The room was very spacious and clean. It was in the heart of everything! We were only one minute away from the best restaurants, the marina, the beach, the grocery store to stock up on drinks / waters. It was only a minute away from Lola's a fun bar just up the stairs. The management team was so generous to give us extra time in the morning to pack up and catch the ferry. I highly recommend staying here!”

“The hotel was outstanding! Room was large and comfortable, with every imaginable amenity available. Everything was high tech and top quality, and the location was unbeatable, just steps away from the ferry port and the main attractions in the island. Breakfast was great, and service fantastic, including awesome recommendations for tour guides and restaurants. Overall, an outstanding experience in Hvar, and could not recommend Villa Porta Maestra enough.”

“This was such a great hotel to just kick back and relax at for our last week in the country. The rooms were beautiful with a very nice balcony we could enjoy coffee on. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety. The lounge area was nice with lots of day beds and plenty of shade if you need. The boat refuelling station only became a bother when boaters argued. Other than that they were just part of the scenery.”

“I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the ferry pier, which made arriving and leaving very convenient. It was also only about an 8-10 minute walk to Old Town, restaurants, and convenience stores, so everything I needed was close by. The apartment was cute, clean, and felt very safe throughout my stay. The only downside was the stairs. There weren’t a huge number of them, but carrying luggage up and down was a bit……

“Waterman glamping was fine, but the mobile house was below expectations. It was not as modern as per pictures. The overall appearance of the camp is nothing luxurious, it is rather modern basic, even you walk around the more expensive units like tent and higher end houses. There is place for 4 persons, but be aware that every single step anywhere in the mobile house can be heard in any room. Overall good experience, but for this price we have expected much more in terms of overall glamping……
